Software description
NGScloud is a bioinformatic system, developed to analyse RNA-seq data using Amazon cloud computing services that provide access to an ad hoc computational infrastructure which is scalable depending on the complexity of the experiment, so that costs can be optimised. The application provides a user-friendly interface to carry out operations on Amazon hardware and control work flows in RNA-sea experiments directed at non-model species. NGScloud incorporates the cluster concept, that makes it possible to run commonly used programs in RNA-seq simultaneously on several virtual machines to reduce analysis times.
