Transport Planning

Since its beginnings, the Group has efficiently promoted the participation of its researchers in projects in the European Union Framework Programmes and National Plans, as well as their collaboration with authorities and businesses.

We are currently working on three research projects in the 7th European Union Framework Programme, we have three R&D projects in the National Plan, and two with the European Investment Bank. We also have three University-Business Chairs on the go.

We are also members of significant national and international networks, such as: European Conference of Transport Research Institutes (ECTRI), International Public Transport Union (UITP), Technology Platform for Roads (PTC), Network of European Communication and Transport Activities Research (NECTAR), The European Road Transport Research Advisory Council (ERTRAC) and the Technology Platform for Roads (PTC).
