We are located in the Home Automation Centre (CEDINT) in the Montegancedo-UPM IEC. In 2021 our group was made up of 34 people with various profiles: 5 Professors, 8 Doctorates, 20 researchers and 1 technician. The Optical Engineering Group is multi-cultural, with members from 3 nationalities, and works closely with industry on research projects.
The group's researchers are co-inventors of around one hundred patents and make huge efforts to transfer technology to the industry. It has a company, Limbak 4pi SL (Spain), as an Associate Entity, which is a spin-off from the group and it works closely with it.
