CEDINT-UPM is a multidisciplinary R&D Center. Our research activities are divided into the areas of Energy Efficiency and IoT, Virtual Reality, Optical Engineering, Biometry, Optical Communications, Technoeconomics and Acoustic Technologies. To adapt to the complexity of new challenges at the frontier of knowledge, collaboration between these areas has become more inter- and transdisciplinary over the years, so that CEDINT-UPM is able to address current R&D challenges holistically.
CEDINT's mission is to explore the frontier of science in disciplines related to advanced interactive technologies and energy efficiency, combining basic and applied research. We lay the foundations for innovative inventions and foster the creation of spin-offs that turn them into commercial products.
