At the Bioengineering and Telemedicine Group (BTG) our aim is education, research and technological development in the field of Biomedical Engineering, mainly applying Information and Communications Technologies to health.
The group was created in 1983 and currently consists of 32 people ¿teaching staff, doctorate researchers, trainee researchers, technical and administrative staff and students doing their Degree or Masters theses. The group's members come from the Photonics Technology and Bioengineering Department at the HTSE for Telecommunications, the ITE Department of the HTSE for Telecommunications Systems and the Biomedical Technology Centre (BTC). Researchers from other universities and hospitals, in Spain and abroad, also collaborate with the BTG.
