Cary 7000 spectrophotometer for measuring the reflection, absorption and transmission of light in materials and coatings on a broad spectrum of electromagnetic radiation, from ultraviolet to near infrared, passing through visible.

Measuring the optical properties of photovoltaic and optoelectronic materials in wavelengths ranging from 175 nm to 3,300 nm. It includes an integrating sphere which allows light to be collected from every direction, so that both direct and diffuse reflectance and transmittance components can be measured and, based on them, reliable absorption measurements can be made on materials with rough or unpolished surfaces. It also has a universal measurement accessory (UMA), which allows reflectivity and transmissivity to be measured at different angles.
