Small-rodent brain signal (EEG, EMG and SSEP) acquisition platform, which allows the electrical activity in the brains of moving mice to be monitored in real time.
Medicine, neuroscience, neurophysiology, electrophysiology, neurobiology, neurological diseases.
This equipment is able to record the electrical brain activity of animals while they are awake, without restricting their movement or administering anaesthesia. It can also record the electrical activity in the brain of anaesthetised animals, following the application of an electrical stimulus (evoked potentials). Various signals can be recorded at the same time.
It makes it possible to observe the neurological effect of treatments and create models of neurodegenerative diseases. It is also used to observe how mice respond to brain injury and to monitor the effect of treatments that may help to reverse it. Studying pathologies associated with brain disorders: Alzheimer¿s, stroke, Parkinson¿s.
