Microscopy
Using this equipment, it is possible to cut sections of variable size and hardness from biological specimens. Cutting can be done automatically or manually. It has a magnetic specimen holder, with which it is possible to change the orientation of the sample, and an integrated magnifying glass, which, together with the connected lighting system, provides a better view of the cutting area. It also has an ergonomic and independent control panel.
It is currently used in the microscopy service to cut thick sections of biological specimens, excluding by blade (Gillette) vibration, for microscopic analysis.
