A complete laboratory, consisting of two vertical laminar flow cabinets, a cell incubator, an inverted microscope and other auxiliary equipment making it possible to cultivate human cell lines, creating the conditions necessary for them to grow and be handled safely.
Health, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical industry, Food security
Using this infrastructure, it is possible to grow and study human cell lines used as models to emulate the tissues, structures and functions of the human body.
The infrastructure is used for the preliminary analysis of the immune and toxicity response that occurs when the human body¿s systems come into contact with certain substances (determining the immunogenic potential of processed foods, toxicity screening of pharmacological molecules, preliminary analysis of therapeutic efficacy, etc.).
