The platform has functional activity monitoring kits with different sensors and wearables, some of them manufactured in-house, such as a functional loss simulator and sensors for standing up, walking speed and lower extremity power. The infrastructure also has a 3D printer, with which the sensors can be manufactured.

Using these sensors and gadgets, it is possible to obtain a great deal of information about the functional capacity of elderly individuals at risk of frailty. It also has a physical stimulation plan for improving patients¿ functional capacity.
It is currently used for the remote monitoring and stimulation of patients who are at risk of frailty or loss of functional capacity.
This infrastructure incorporates clinical knowledge provided by the doctors of Getafe University Hospital.
