The platform has a calculation module and a display module. The platform has twin high-performance servers, a databank, a switch with fibre connectors, an uninterruptible power supply system and a rack cabinet to store the equipment in an orderly fashion. Characteristics: 96 Cores (4 Intel Xeon Gold 6248R). Storage: 40 TB. Combined RAM: 256 GB. 48 GPUs. 42U rack. Large-format plotter (included in the display module).

Calculation module: Statistical calculations, demand modelling, land use and transport interaction, simulation (macroscopic, microscopic and mesoscopic) and agents. Display module: Graphical simulation, rendering of results, map design and plan printing. The switch connects the devices by means of SFP+ fibre connectors, in order to reduce latency and increase the capacity of the network.
The servers support high-density loads, big data and artificial intelligence. Thanks to virtualisation and the design of the architecture with all-flash equipment for the data bank, the two servers can work jointly and share resources. The centre¿s researchers have remote access from their workstations, for which they have been provided with 27-inch monitors.
