This paper describes the Quality-driven Architecture Conformance (QAC) discipline. Conformance is a particular type of assessment; in this case the architecture is compared with respect to a standard. Conformance process determines the degree of fulfillment of the architecture against a specific standard. QAC guarantees the compatibility and transferability of a system. The main contributions of this paper are: The definition of the QAC conceptual model, a workflow for the application of QAC and a summary of QAC techniques and tools. A case study has been executed in order to validate the QAC discipline | |
