Presentation

The Double Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and Electronic Systems Engineering aims to combine comprehensive training in Information Technology and Communications in the Field of Telecommunications with a training in Electronic Systems Engineering that allows students to guide their Professional activity in the Electronic Engineering sector. In this way, students who take this double degree will study the 60 compulsory ECTS of the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering plus the 30 ECTS of the Master's final project, in total 90 ECTS, which would be complying with the provisions of Order CIN / 355 / 2009 of February 9, 2009 and, therefore, will obtain the necessary competences to claim the attributions of the profession of telecommunication engineer. In addition, they will complete the remaining 30 ECTS with optional subjects to obtain the 120 ECTS necessary to obtain an qualifying degree according to the UPM and according to the report presented by the ETS Telecommunications Engineers, with the particularity that in this case these 30 ECTS will be of the scope of Electronic Engineering (the 30 offered in the specialty of Advanced Electronics of the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, 12 of them, in addition, specific to the Master's Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering).

To obtain the 60 ECTS of the Master's Degree in Electronic Systems Engineering, students will take the common subjects of the MUIT, of which 12 ECTS of the MUISE would be validated, the optional subjects necessary to complete the Intensification in Electronics - II of the MUIT, of which would be validated 12 ECTS of the MUISE, 21 compulsory ECTS of the MUISE and 15 ECTS of the Final Master's Degree Project specific to the MUISE.

The student of the double Master's degree would make a total of 148 ECTS, of which 90 are specific to the University Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering (60 of compulsory subjects, which include 12 validated ECTS in the MUISE, plus 30 ECTS of optional subjects, 22 of them obtained in the MUIT and another 8 in the MUISE, plus 30 of the Final Master's Project of the MUIT, plus 13 ECTS specific to subjects of the MUISE, plus 15 ECTS of the Final Master's Project of the MUISE.The student must select a subject of Intensification in Electronics-II among the following three: "Photovoltaic Solar Energy", "Microelectronic Technology" and "Nanoelectronics", all others must necessarily be taken in the degree in which they are offered to complete the 30 optional ECTS required by the MUIT and allow the planned validations to be carried out.
