| Presentation | The main objective of the proposed program is providing courses to obtain the Master degree in Seismic Engineering: Soil and Structural Dynamic. This constitutes also the previous step to perfom the Doctoral Thesis at the Technical University of Madrid into the Seismic Engineering program. The main purpose of the Master is to train experts capable of working to the maximum level in both research and development into this area, to satisfy the increasing demand in this sector. The specific objectives of the program are the following: To train experts in the different areas involved in Seismic Engineering, involved in the research and capable to occupy post of responsability in the research and development departmens of the companies. To be a reference in the development of the Seismic Engineering, both by the excellent expertise of the graduates and by the quality of the achievements performed by the groups that develop the teaching and the research To increase the transference of technology of the participating centres both directly through cooperation agreements and by means of the training of experts |
