Presentation | This is a double master program that combines the Master in Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos and the Master in Civil Engineering Systems. Students will receive additional training in both a more practical-oriented approach for professional daily life (Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos) and a more research-oriented approach (Master in Civil Engineering Systems). Through the double master program, students can be specialised in one of the following expertise areas: (i) hydraulics, energy, and the environment; (ii) transport and territory. One the one hand, the Master in Ingeniería de Caminos, Canales y Puertos allows students to become Registered Professional (Civil) Engineers in Spain. On the other hand, the Master in Civil Engineering Systems focuses on research skills, providing students an excellent framework to conduct their PhD programs according to different areas of expertise. The duration of the double master program is 148.5 ECTS, including two master thesis that corresponds with both masters.The double master program is scheduled in a way that could be completed in 2 years. It aims at students who have completed a Bachelor program (accredited in Spain) in Civil Engineering. Students with interest in both acquiring professional and research skills are strongly encouraged to take part in this program. To apply for the double master program, it is mandatory to fill in the application form, as well as a recommendation letter and a motivation letter detailing the reasons to opt for this education program. It should be fluent in English (B2 Common European Framework). |
