| Presentation | "The University Master in Gardening and Landscaping, comes from the transformation into official degree (as agreed by the Governing Council of the UPM, on December 16, 2010) of the "Master in Gardening and Landscaping" (UPM's own title), which was taught between 1990 and 2011, in the Department of Plant Production: Phytotechnology, at the former School of Agricultural Engineering. In the agronomic sector, gardening, landscaping and environmental issues have acquired such development and importance that their technical complexity, technological progress and the level of investment involved make it necessary to professionalize and qualify at the highest level the technicians and businessmen involved; In this sense, our program offers our postgraduates and even other interested graduates, the realization of studies comparable to those already existing in other foreign universities in the areas of design, project, planning, execution, maintenance and management of landscape, environment and gardening works". |
