Presentation | The Double Degree of Master's Degree in Agricultural Engineering and Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics is a Joint Program of Official Studies that combines comprehensive agronomic training with advanced training in economics, with the aim of training highly qualified professionals in the agricultural, food and environmental sectors. The Double Master’s Program is aimed at graduates in Agricultural, Food or Agro-environmental Engineering with a title approved in Spain. On the other hand, according to UPM regulations, the B2 level of English is required to access this Master. The Double Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering and in Agricultural Economics consists of a total of 140 ECTS, of which at least 84ECTS are specific to the Master’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering (72 of compulsory subjects plus 12 of the Final Master's Project) and at least 60 ECTS are specific to the Master's Degree in Agricultural Economics (30 compulsory subjects, 18 optional subjects and 12 Master's Thesis). In this way, the students of this Double Master acquire the professional attributions for the exercise of the profession of agricultural engineer and, simultaneously, an excellent training in the field of agricultural economics, so much demanded today. Likewise, at the end of the double degree, students will be able to access any of the Doctoral Programs that are taught at the School of Agricultural, Food and Biosystems Engineering. |
