The objective of the Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence is preparing students for innovation in the area of Artificial Intelligence in two ways: the creation of innovative techniques and methods in their own research area of Artificial Intelligence and the incorporation of these techniques and methods to the social and business processes and creating innovative software solutions.

Thus, it will give professionals in Computer Science and, in general, professionals of Science and Technology, a greater degree of knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, to be able to address and solve scientific and technological problems using methods, techniques and products through recent research in the area. This general objective can be completed with two additional goals and intrinsic to the content of the degree. First, the idea of innovating to investigate and, simultaneously, the idea of research to innovate.The first goal suggests innovative programs that are able to combine the specialized nature of creativity training with underlying original lines, active and productive research.The second is directed toward the ability to be creative in tackling and solving problems through research.
