Students and Graduates from Spanish universities
Students should apply via the UPM application portal, you can apply for only one Master's program in each application term. If it is denied, you may repeat the request in the following term or period:
- DNI (Spanish national ID card), NIE (Foreigner ID Number for residents in Spain) or Passport.
- Curriculum Vitae.
- The academic documents depend on the student's choice of master's degree. Additionally, each program may have specific access requirements.
Note: Invalid documents for academic purposes downloaded from web pages shall NOT be acceptable except for graduates from the UPM (Politécnica Virtual).
- If you have completed your Bachelor's degree:
- Accredited degree certificate issued by Spanish university or proof of having applied for diploma.

Official Transcript of records of your first degree, stating the subjects taken and grades attained.
- If you do NOT have completed your Bachelor's degree.
According to the UPM Enrollment Regulations, you can apply (In no case can the Master's degree be obtained without having previously completed the Bachelor's degree):
- Student Pledge for Completion of Studies.

Official Transcript of records of your degree stating credits passed and credits necessary for your Bachelor's degree.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Students who do NOT have completed their Bachelor's degree can apply, and pay their Tuition Fee Deposit and enrollment on a conditional basis:
They must prove their compliance, this second period, before March 15 by sending the required documentation to tramitacion.master.oficial@upm.es. Otherwise, admission, and enrollment if any, will be cancelled. |
- Students applying for an accredited master's degree listed in Appendix I (included any Master's degree offering professional certification: MSc in Aerospace Engeneering; MSc in Agro-Engineering; MSc in Architecture; MSc in Civil Engineering; MSc in Mining Engineering; MSc in Forestry Engineering; MSc in Industrial Engineering; MSc in Naval and Oceanic Engineering; MSc in Telecommunications Engeneering. Or any dual program with them) are obliged to submit a Level B2 English language proficiency certificate, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
If you are applying for the MSc Lower and Upper Secondary Teacher Training, the required accreditation is Level B1 in a foreign language. - For this second period there is no Tuition Fee Deposit.
