Other European R&D programmes
Complementing Horizon 2020 there are other international initiatives to fund research and innovation, such as the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Security Agency (EDA), the Third Health Program, the European Defense Program (EDIDP), the CEF (Connecting European Facilities) Program, ERA-NETs or COST actions, among others.

PIVOT, the platform to find international R&D opportunities
Additionally, UPM has access to the PIVOT platform to search for funding opportunities at a international level. It covers all kinds of research projects, awards, equipment purchases, scholarships, etc. It has international coverage that covers financial organizations (public and private) from the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America or Australia and New Zealand, among others.

OPI manages the PIVOT platform so we have created a series of thematic searches that can be used as a guide to create new ones, based on each researcher’s research areas and receive weekly updates by email.
