PhD in Biochemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or related areas. The candidate
should have published in the areas of protein biochemistry and/or plant pathogens.
Previous experience in the field of plant-microbe interactions will be valued. The
successful candidate will lead research that investigates the antifungal structural
and functional properties of plant defensins and their effect on fungal plant
pathogens. The goal is to contribute to more eco-friendy and sustainable
agricultural practices through the reduction of chemical fungicides.
