Training, networking and advice on international R&D for companies in the region of Madrid (free of charge)
The Kairós project: Digital Innovation Hub of the UPM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid), funded by the region of Madrid, with the aim of promoting technological innovation and technology transfer to the productive sector included in the thematic priorities of the regional research strategy and innovation for smart specialization (RIS 3) of the Madrid region.
The International R&D Projects Office coordinates activities to support the participation of companies in European R&D projects in the Madrid region.

- Training in international projects
- The goal is to improve the process of proposals preparation to advertise funding opportunities for R & D projects at European level, mainly Horizon 2020, the current EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation and the upcoming one, Horizon Europe, as well as other programs that may be of interest such as Life +, Research Fund for Coal & Steel (RFCS), EUREKA or ERANETs.
- Free training sessions for companies with headquarters in the Madrid region: Claves de Éxito en Programas internacionales de I+D (Keys for Success in international R&D programmes) 4 sessions to improve participation. More information and registration.

- The objective is to promote the participation of the business network in international R&D projects, together with UPM research groups. This is done by promoting technology transfer between the university and the company in the framework of ambitious projects with high added value and visibility, by supporting Madrid companies in promoting their R & D capabilities, by expanding the companies´ network of contacts, by generating opportunities for collaboration, as well as by increasing the companies' capacity for innovation and their competitiveness.
